Free Them Petition

By placing my name and contact information on this petition I am stating that I agree the city of Albuquerque, and the state of New Mexico need to adopt more stringent regulations of sexually oriented businesses.  In addition to a valid business license, these regulations should include, but not be limited to the following requirements:

• Owners and operators, as well as their spouses to be cleared by the office of the Chief of Police.
• An approved operator must be on the premises at all times of operation.
• All workers should be employees (not contract laborers) and should be required to register a valid address for the previous 12 months prior to employment.
• Similar to current pawn shop regulations, police should be able to enter and inspect the premise without a warrant.

Great effort should be made to heavily regulate an industry known for aiding in the trafficking of human beings.
